($1,000 each) 2 scholarships in Nicole's memory are presented to 2 different seniors at each graduation ceremony. One student, pursuing an Arts degree at any college will receive one of the scholarships, in memory of Nicole's love of art and her goal of attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. The second student who receives the second scholarship, does not need to be attending Art school. This scholarship is awarded to a senior who has displayed, above and beyond, acts of compassion throughout his or her life. Nicole was a very caring, compassionate, giving, and accepting young lady throughout all her 17 years. Always quick to offer a helping hand, or a heart of friendship, Nicole made lasting impacts on so many lives in her short life. This second scholarship is aimed to keep the torch that represents Nicole's compassionate soul burning.
